Colorado at the 2026 Okanagan Screen Awards

Colorado, Alexandra Wright's first official music video, placed third in Music Videos and received Best Song at the 2026 Okanagan Screen Awards. James Alton directed, produced, photographed, edited and coloured the film in Kelowna.

Awards and recognition

Third place and Best Song.

The official 2026 results list Colorado twice: third place in Music Videos, credited to James Alton, and Best Song for Alexandra Wright.

The screening programme also lists Colorado in the Saturday music-video lineup and credits James as director.

The third-place result recognizes the finished music video. Best Song recognizes Alexandra Wright's Colorado.

Colorado is Alexandra Wright's first official music video, made for the song from her debut album Bartering with the Mirror.

The finished video moves from a quiet window portrait and a close performance beside a weathered wall to open fields and rural locations around Kelowna.

James directed, produced, photographed, edited and coloured the video, with Kelowna Film Studios as the production company. The Colorado project page includes the full role list and more finished frames.
