The film
An in-development reality / documentary series concept built around Jason Parkes, a local celebrity and business magnate, his wine and hospitality world, and the personality engine behind Vintage Rebel.
The approach
James joined Bob Blumer and Norm Coyne / Barker Street Cinema as a DP / producer to help shape development footage, interviews and proof-of-concept material without taking official director or executive producer credit.
In development. Corus Entertainment has expressed interest, but no broadcaster commitment is in place.

Development work
A reality concept built from access, character and world.
Vintage Rebel sits between personality-led documentary, food and wine culture, and unscripted development. The creative work is about testing whether Jason Parkes' world as a local celebrity and business magnate can sustain a repeatable series engine.
Bob Blumer leads the project as director, with Norm Coyne / Barker Street Cinema carrying the co-development and executive producer lane. James' contribution is practical and creative support: camera, producing, field coverage and material that helps the team see what the show could become.
The work includes development footage, sizzle/proof material and local production access around Jason Parkes, Okanagan wine culture and the hospitality world surrounding the project.
Proof material
The world around the subject.
Clean frames from the latest development cut show the subject, director, interviews and hospitality world without relying on timestamped review screenshots.
